If you have not been to paradise yet, then you should come to Cannes.

Cannes is located in the department of the Alpes-Maritimes which is located in the far south east of France on the border with Italy. The Alps meet the Mediterranean creating one of the most stunning landscapes to be found anywhere in France.

Cannes is considered the most glamorous of all the towns on the coast and is worldwide renowned for its annual Film Festival.

In Cannes you'll find something for everyone, whether you are looking for a lazy beach holiday, quiet relaxation, dinner at our Pop-Up restaurant or fun picnics and cooking classes - we have it covered!

The area around the old port is the most interesting part of Cannes where the fishermen in their little wooden boats still go about their business despite of being overshadowed by some mega-private yachts. The quaint old town, known as Le Suquet, rises steeply from the port, crowned by an 11th century tower.

Cannes has two daily markets, Marche Forville and Marche Gambetta'. Marche Forville takes place in a large open pink covered building just behind the town hall. This is the place to come for meat, fish, herbs and vegetables of outstanding quality.

The other essential visit for any food lover while in Cannes is the Rue Meynadier. A long narrow street full of bakers, cheese shops and every type of pasta imaginable. The Promenade de la Croisette is the waterfront avenue lined with beautiful tall palm trees. La Croisette is known for long picturesque beaches, restaurants, cafés and designer boutiques. From Le Suquet, the old town, you can get an excellent view of La Croisette.

Cannes has a pleasant Mediterranean climate with 12 hours of sunshine per day during the summer months (May to September), while in winter (December to February) the weather is mild. Both seasons have relatively low rainfall.
