La Serviette Blanche, who has been running successful cookery classes and private dining in Cannes since 2011, introduces all new “Culinary Getaways”! Our cooking class are known for their relaxed atmosphere which is a great way of combining a vacation with your culinary development.

An all-inclusive vacation where you'll get the opportunity to indulge in fabulous food and wines and experience the ultimate culinary vacation.

Customized getaways for 2 also available.

During the cooking classes, you will learn how to skillfully combine flavors and textures as well as understanding your ingredients.

With the expert guidance of your chef, you will experiment with new flavors and techniques while using only the freshest ingredients.

If you are traveling alone and willing to share your room, you will not be charged a single room supplement. If you would like to have a room to yourself and are not willing to share your room, you will be charged the single room supplement at the time of booking.

ARRIVAL DAY:

You'll arrive on Saturday after 10.00 am.

Settle in your room and explore the premises.

16.30 we will start with an introductory meeting to discuss the week’s program. It's also a wonderful opportunity to relax and get to know your fellow guests.

17.00, we'll gather around the pool for a complimentary glass of champagne with delectable homemade canapés.

18.30 Dinner, an authentic Provencal and Mediterranean BBQ on the terrace while enjoying the sunset.

What is included?

The price includes full board + accommodation for 3 or 5 nights in a beautiful Provencal villa, tuition, excursions & wine tasting at a very exclusive winery.

Transfer service to and from Nice airport available upon request. Single journey €90 and is payable directly to the transfer company.

Payment

A minimum of 30% of total course fees is required at the time of reservation and is nonrefundable.

The balance is due 30 days before arrival. Payments can be made through bank transfers or through our secure payment system on our website.

Once payment has been received, you will get a confirmation of your trip.

In the event of insufficient numbers of clients, we reserve the right to cancel the culinary escapades and either fully refund existing clients, or transfer them to another suitable course date.

La Serviette Blanche reserves the right to alter its program if necessary.

Cancellation

Full Refund minus the 30% deposit per person applies when written notice of cancellation is received more than 30 days prior to the tour.

Cancellations received 30 days prior to arrival will be subject to a cancellation fee of 50%.

No refund will be made for cancellations received from 30 days or less prior to date of arrival. Once the week has commenced there will be no refunds on unused portions. Cancellations due to medical reasons can be covered by travel insurance.

Our culinary escapades are limited to a maximum of 8 participants and adhere strictly to our cancellation terms and conditions. We therefore recommend our clients to take travel insurance to cover any cancellation.

La Serviette Blanche is not responsible for payments made by guests in connection with international transportation, lodging and other costs outside the package cost of the culinary getaway.

During the cooking classes, you will learn a variety of skills and techniques used in French and Mediterranean cuisine.

You will also learn how to make your own bread and successfully combine flavors, desserts and stocks.

09.30 visit to the Provencal market in Cannes to shop with the chef for fresh ingredients

11.00 Hands-On Cooking Class followed by a 4-course lunch on the terrace

15.00 excursion to an exclusive winery near Nice for wine tasting.

18.00 Apero bites and a glass of wine followed by a 3-course dinner

MONDAY: Day 3

08.30 -09.15 Breakfast (fresh croissant, pain au chocolate, bread, a selection of homemade preserves, farm yogurt, cereal, orange juice, coffee, tea)

09.30 – 16.00 Hands-On Cooking Class + demonstration followed by a 3-course lunch

18.00 Apero bites and a glass of wine followed by a 3-course dinner

TUESDAY: Day 4

08.00 -08.30 Breakfast (fresh croissant, pain au chocolate, bread, a selection of homemade preserves, farm yogurt, cereal, orange juice, coffee, tea)

09.00 Excursion to a local cheese farm for tasting followed by a visit to a well known confiserie where you will discover the sweet, wonderful world of our candied specialties from the South of France. During our guided tour, you can witness the transformation of the region’s best fruits and most beautiful flowers into confectionery products.

13.00 Back at the villa in Cannes for a fabulous cheese & wine tasting lunch.

After lunch, time at leisure.

17.00 Dinner preparation, team effort

19.00 Apero bites and a glass of wine followed by a 3-course dinner

WEDNESDAY: Day 5

08.30 -09.15 Breakfast (fresh croissant, pain au chocolate, bread, a selection of homemade preserves, farm yogurt, cereal, orange juice, coffee, tea)

09.30 visit to the market to shop for fresh ingredients

11.00 Hands-On Cooking Class followed by a 3-course lunch

16.00 The last dinner before your departure where you'll be challenged to use the skills and knowledge that you’ve acquired during the week and work as a team to prepare and present the last dinner of a fun week together. You will discuss the menu with the chef who then will assist you during the preparations.

18.30 3-course farewell dinner with wine

THURSDAY: Day 6 (Farewell, Departure day)
